I regularly teach tutorials and short courses about the Brian simulator, or more generally about simulations of spiking neural networks.
Some examples of this are the tutorials I gave at the EITN fall school, or at courses at Sorbonne University and at Université de Paris. I make the material for these courses available in the
brian-material GitHub repository. From 2017 to 2019, I have also been a tutor for the OIST computational neuroscience summer school in Okinawa, Japan.
I also teach best practices in software development more generally, as an instructor for the Software Carpentry initiative. I've been a certified instructor since 2016.
In case your are interested in doing a BSc/MSc internship on neural simulation technology or on neural modeling in general, please contact me.
